Appointed as Export Manager. Exports increase to INRM 10. A major breakthrough was made in the USSR market. Vulcan Laval got a first trial order of INRM 3 , which was delivered successfully.

Successfully completes the INRM 260 U.S.S.R contract and is promoted to the position of General Manger (Exports and Marketing). Exports continue to grow.

In the same year, she embarks on a company-sponsored training program (Senior Executive Program – SEP) to Stanford University, USA.

Appointed as Executive Vice President of Vulcan Laval. Later in the year, in October, she is appointed as Acting Managing Director.
